FUSE Artist Residency - Jason Hendrik Hansma: Opaline (Lattimo) Exhibition Period: 24 March—26 April 2019 Venue: Videotage (Unit 13, Cattle Depot, 63 Ma Tau Kok Road, Kowloon) Opening + Talk: 23 March 17:00 Brunch: 28 March 10:00-12:00 [By Invitation] Reading Session @ V54*: 25 March 20:00 (V54 Introduction: 25 March 19:15 ) *Venue: Multi Function Room, G/F, V54 (54 Village Road, Happy Valley, Hong Kong) The opening reception of ‘FUSE Artist Residency - Jason Hendrik Hansma: Opaline (Lattimo)’ will be followed by an artist talk, Jason Hendrik Hansma will be in dialogue with Dr. Lam, Hau Ling Eileen, art historian from The Education University of Hong Kong, moderated by Angel Leung, Programs Manager of Videotage. Two speakers will exchange the ideas of containment and vessels and the imitative relationship between ceramic and glass with the audience in the talk. In collaboration with our Venue Sponsor Po Leung Kuk’s artist residence space V54, Videotage will organize a reading session with Jason Hendrik Hansma. The reading will provide different perspectives to interpret the artworks, set in a dark room at night and similar to a cinema environment with only the monologue.
